AUTOMATED CLEARING HOUSE (ACH)

The ACH network continues to be one of the fastest growing services in the banking industry by expediting the processing of financial transactions.  Here are just a few examples:

1. Direct Deposit — Pay an employee, vendor or supplier, reimburse expenses or pay dividends with the direct deposit of an ACH credit into the recipient’s checking account.
2. Direct Payment — Reduce your billing costs and expedite monthly payments with Direct Payment. Instead of waiting on a check, you can electronically receive pre-arranged payments.
3. Cash Concentration — You can concentrate funds from other depository locations into a central account at HMB.  This feature is particularly helpful for businesses with multiple locations, as balances can be transferred from the local banks to your HMB business account(s).
4. Cash Disbursement — Through the ACH network, funds can be disbursed from an HMB account to make a wide variety of payments or transfers electronically.

Wire Origination is a solution anytime you need funds transferred for same-day credit and for same-day settlement needs. This service enables you to initiate outgoing domestic and international wires.

REMOTE DEPOSIT CAPTURE

Gone are the days of rushing to the bank to make your deposit in person by 2:00 pm! HMB is taking banking convenience to a whole new level. Now you can bank from your own office desktop with our web-based Remote Deposit Capture. With the use of a simple scanner, you can now scan and transmit checks for deposit electronically to HMB for same-day processing up to 7:00 pm

ZERO BALANCE ACCOUNT

Manage your company’s cash flow more efficiently by concentrating all of your funds from subsidiary accounts at HMB into a Master Account.  Exact funds are automatically transferred from the Master Account into the subsidiary account against which a disbursement has been made.  Zero Balance accounts are ideal for businesses with subsidiaries or more than one location.

SWEEP INVESTMENT ACCOUNT (SIA)

Established in conjunction with Goldman Sachs Asset Management, HMB’s Sweep Investment** account provides the opportunity for businesses to maximize their returns. The collected balance in a linked checking account is reviewed each business day to determine excess funds above a specified target balance. Excess funds are then automatically invested overnight into a readily available, interest-earning money market mutual fund.
